Missing, but never forgotten ... Madeleine McCann
Madeleine McCann - Vital Statistics: Shortly after 9:00 pm on May 3, 2007 four-year-old Madeleine McCann was taken from her bedroom as her parents, Doctors Gerry and Kate McCann, dined at a restaurant only 50 yards away and her 2-year-old twin siblings slept beside her. The British family was vacationing in Portugal, but now Gerry and Kate spend each day praying for their daughter's safe return amidst a media frenzy. British and Portuguese crime investigators have found nothing. From PamMedia attention is starting to fade and so are the hopes that Madeleine will be found alive and returned to her family. I feel it’s highly possible that she is alive and can still be reunited with her family so please keep watching for her. If you see a child resembling Madeleine, please “look into her eyes” for a distinctive marking in her right eye. Keep in mind that her hair may be altered, cut, colored, braided or hidden under a bandana. Her skin is very fair. To report a possible sighting: - Portuguese Police direct on 00351 282 405 400

Gordon Hettrick - FOUND On March 10, 2007 Gordon Hettrick went missing from his cousin's home in rural Mendocino County, Philo, California. Gordon went for a walk around 4:30 p.m., which was not unusual as he had a love for hiking the country trails. When Gordon didn't return by morning, however, a call for help was made to the Sheriff's department. A four-day diligent and exhuastive search was performed by city, county, state and volunteer search and rescue teams. Dogs and helicopters were used but ultimately failed to locate any sign of Gordon. When Gordon went for his walk that afternoon in March he was in a loving and stable 23-year relationship with his partner, Gary Pierce. Gary writes: "After ten painful months there was still no sign or word from Gordon. I decided to make one last attempt by contacting Pam Coronado, after seeing her on television working with another sheriff's department in Georgia on a missing person case. I was reluctant and a little afraid, frankly, to contact Pam at first. There was a fear that we might really find Gordon. Still, I could no longer bear not knowing. When I finally made contact with Pam she was very comforting and asked for some photos of Gordon and something personal to Gordy that she could work with. After working with the things I had sent, Pam and I had a telephone conversation in which she described a location. Upon locating the site Pam had described later that same day, Gordon's remains were found on January 28, 2008. I was incredibly grateful to finally know in my heart, without a doubt, that Gordon had been unable to return and that now he would finally be returned to those of us who loved him." I strongly encourage all law enforcement agencies to use this tool when all other resources have been exhausted." Gary Pierce, Pilo, CA |
