Hello friends,
Welcome to my newest subscribers, and thanks to those who took time to contact me with thoughts, comments, questions and stories. Comments, ideas and questions are always welcome.
My prediction is that October will be an eventful month for many of you, especially in the area of relationships. October is the month of Libra, THE relationship sign and on October 3rd, there will be a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Libra (only seen in Europe, UK and Spain) which is sure to bring focus, and possibly sudden change, to the close bonds we have created in our lives. I will be writing more on this and also touch on synchronicity, one of my favorite subjects, and the inspiration for this month's topic.
Last month I told you about an article in Biography Magazine. Little did I know how difficult it is to actually obtain a copy. I still don't have one. I do, however, have a press release about the upcoming special on A&E October 14th, which you can read below. I had a successful trip to Washington DC and hopefully we will get a break in the case soon.

Easy Does it in Relationships
As I mentioned in the intro, October 3rd brings an eclipse in the relationship sign of Libra. No matter what your personal beliefs about astrology, you are still bound to feel this one. Eclipses equal change, in the manner of a flipped page, a tale's dangling question brought to conclusion, dazzling twists and turns, jarring introductions or recurrences, a goodbye and a hello in the same sentence, the program switching backdrops or inducting long-lost cousins or other characters who promise to provide freshness to the same worn-out premise, and bam!l life is different.
Eclipses shake up the status quo. I find them exhilarating and yet treat them with respect, much the way I respect the powerful ocean. I love forward movement and eclipses always provide just that. The tricky part is the change that comes with an eclipse usually has long-term effects, so try to watch your knee-jerk reactions in light of any new information or characters you meet early this month. This is not a good time for ultimatums if you cherish a relationship and yet it can shake you out of an unproductive one.
Eclipses move us along our path and in general are good for falling in love, or out of it, so with this one falling in the relationship sign anything can happen. Eclipses can also bring new homes, new jobs, new babies, new pets, new friends etc. so watch who or what walks into your life now as they are likely to stick around for a while or become more significant than you now realize.

Synchronicity
There are hundreds of fascinating stories out there The writer doing a book on an Alcatraz prison break runs into the only person in the world who witnessed the event, by chance- at a party. A woman in California is locked out of her house when the postman walks up holding a letter from her brother- inside is a spare key. The woman who is searching for her missing daughter just happens to step into an elevator with her daughter's abductor and helps police catch him.
Maybe not as dramatically, but it probably has happened to you. You strike up a conversation with a stranger only to have them reveal the information you've been searching for? You pick up a book or newspaper and it falls open to reveal just the answer you needed at that moment? You run into someone you haven't seen in years and they tell you about a terrific job opening? Synchronicity- meaningful coincidences, sometimes incredible, sometimes trivial but always interesting.
This month's subject of relationships came up through a series of synchronicities. First, my daughter's eye doctor mentioned the classic book "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" during an eye exam. Unusual conversations like this always cause me to pay attention. Interestingly enough, I stumbled upon that very book the next day while cleaning out some junk in the garage. When I saw the book displayed at an airport bookstore, I decided there was a message here. I turned to a page randomly and read something I really needed to help me understand a current relationship struggle. "That's IT" I exclaimed out loud to a few startled book browsers. There was the insight I needed. It was then that I also made the connection with the upcoming "relationship eclipse."
Just reading this article is likely to produce a few synchronistic experiences for you. The more aware and appreciative you become of these fascinating coincidences the more they will occur. The more you talk about them, the more they appear. The more fun you have with them, the more you will experience. Ask for insight and then watch for the startling answers. I want to use this column to introduce you to the special people who help me behind the scenes. This month I want to introduce John Odom. John (J.M. to me) is my P.I. partner. I live in California. John lives in Arizona and together we share a Tucson based business called Sage Investigations, Inc. JM is responsible for getting me licensed in both states. John and I met and became fast friends and partners after the heartbreaking abduction of Mikelle Biggs in Mesa, Arizona in 1999. John taught me how to do surveillance, "you watch for the first two hours, while I take a nap" ha ha. Seriously, without John I wouldn't be where I am today. MEDIUMS: WE SEE DEAD PEOPLE
In this 2-hour A&E SPECIAL PRESENTATION: MEDIUMS: WE SEE DEAD PEOPLE viewers see phenomena that are simply unexplainable. This fascinating program presents mediums from across the nation who attempt to solve crimes, speak to the dead, investigate "hauntings" and photograph spirits. They strive to tune in to dimensions most of us never dream of.
John Holland is driven blindfolded to a building in Greenwich Village that was the site of one of the worst disasters in New York City's history: the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. He is led to floors in the building where he picks up on a tragic history. What he senses is amazingly accurate: the giant fireball that made it impossible for many young women to escape; the rows of sewing machines; and the windows where many women jumped to their deaths. John's detail is incredible, placing the time period of the tragedy by the dresses and hairstyles of the women he is "seeing." And at the restaurant in Little Italy where Joey Gallo was gunned down in 1972, John describes the shooting from Gallo's point of view.
Long Island psychic Jeffrey Wands is brought to the 18th century Sparta cemetery in New York. As evening falls, the names are impossible to read, but Jeffrey doesn't read the stones, he sees the dead - and tells a historian details about the people buried there that the historian had never known. Psychic detective Pam Coronado helps police hunt for the body of a missing woman in the marshes of Georgia and the world-famous psychic James Van Praagh allows viewers to sit in on a personal reading.
This A&E SPECIAL PRESENTATION: MEDIUMS: WE SEE DEAD PEOPLE also explores the town of Lily Dale where everybody talks to the dead. In Tucson, psychologist Dr. Gary Schwartz tests medium Debbie Martin for accuracy. And in rural Alabama, psychiatrist Raymond Moody shows off his pitch-black chamber, complete with mirror, designed to see the dead. Another psychic medium, Nancy Weber, recreates a case in which she helped police find three abducted children; Bay Area psychic Annette Martin and parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach takes viewers "ghostbusting" aboard the USS Hornet. Viewers also see Phil Jordan's psychic floor shows in upstate New York and learn about Jordan's famous case involving a missing 5-year-old boy.

Pam's Book Review
My book choices are probably obvious this month. Dust off your copy of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus by John Gray and review. If you don't have one, now is the time to get one. This is THE month to gain insight into those mysterious creatures we love. Those in same sex relationships, read it too.
Incredible Coincidence - The Baffling World of Synchronicity by Alan Vaughan is also at the top of my list this month. This little paperback is packed full of great stories and strong research. It was also written by someone I loved dearly!
